March 10th 2018 was the final round of competition for the 2018 West Coast Parkour Championships circuit. This final event was held at the new Apex school of movement San Diego facility about an hour drive south of Freedom in Motion. Freedom in Motion coaches, students, and sponsored athletes in total brought home 15 awards, including 7 first place blue ribbons!

1st place winners break down

  • Zack Manzano: 1st in Teens Skills (FiM student)
  • Zack Manzano: 1st in Teens Speed (FiM student)
  • Desmond Taylor: 1st in Adult Freestyle (FiM Athlete)
  • Jimmy Davidson: 1st in Adule Skills (FiM Founder)
  • Sean Rinehart: 1st in Adult Speed (FiM Athlete)

A job-well-done to our full Freedom in Motion Team who attended this event. In addition to these 5 first place spots our athletes took home several 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place spots as well. Anyone who places in the top 10 earns league points towards their home team!

A big thanks to Apex San Diego for hosting such a fun event! Shoutout to FiM sponsored athlete Jacob Carson for helping to run and organize the Apex event (he did not compete). You did a great job, Jacob!
